Registration opens July 15 for our biggest show of the year

Mark the date, members: The call for entries for the Paint the Town Labor Day Show opens July 15. Members in good standing may enter two works and opt to sell bin works and notecards. Artist Teresa Oaxaca serves as judge, with prizes awarded in nine categories.

MAA's big night out with Bethesda Big Train 

MAA President Jen Barlow had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at July 6's Bethesda Big Train baseball game, which also hosted our artists for an evening of plein air art. Artwork produced at the event will be on sale at Shirley Povich field on July 13.

It's time to renew your annual membership

Members: Now's the time to renew your annual membership! Memberships must be renewed before September 1 in order to participate in our fall exhibitions and events. Membership is $50 ($25 for full-time students). To renew, click the gray "log in" button at the top of this page, and sign in with your email address and MAA password. Once logged in, click on your name to take you to your member profile page. You'll see a Renew button--click on that and follow the prompts.
