Show Theme:  "Autumn's Transformation"

Our fall show at Kensington Park Library in Kensington Maryland is all about the spectacular transition time of Fall. The lush greens of summer to a palette of fiery hues serves as a gentle reminder. Change, though sometimes enveloping us in a cocoon of uncertainty, can unravel into something extraordinarily beautiful. The interpretation of the theme is all yours!

Eligible Media:  

• 2D Artwork:  Oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, encaustic, drawings/inks, hand-pulled prints, fused glass, textile-fiber arts, and photography.  All 2D artwork must meet MAA framing requirements and wiring standards. *See framing guidance here: FRAMING GUIDANCE.
• 3D Artwork:  fused glass, mosaic, clay, wood and/or metal. Up to 6 pieces of Sculpture work will be exhibited in the glass display case.
• Artwork Limit: 25 wall hung pieces and Six 3D works.

Artwork Size:

• All wall-hung framed artwork must not exceed 28x30"
• 3D works are to be sized no larger than 15” H x 10” W x 8” D. 
  

Show Fee: $10

• You must be a MAA member to register for this show.

Volunteers Needed:

• This show requires Volunteers for a variety of tasks; Art check-in, hanging/labeling and art pick-up. Upon completion of your art registration, please check off one of the Volunteer tasks. Thank you!
