Key to an artist’s ability to express their vision are color and light. MAA is pleased to be co-hosting, in conjunction with Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington Goldman Art Gallery in Rockville, a new exhibition and sale as part of the upcoming holiday season titled, a “Celebration Of Color And Light.” . We trust your works will make the world brighter from being part of the exhibition.
Eligible media: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, encaustic, drawing/ink mediums and photography. All must be securely wired for hanging on a wall.
Requirements: The subject of the show is "Celebrating Color & Light". We accept 12 pieces that are up to 48” framed (that could be a 24”X48 “or 48”X48”) and 40 smaller pieces (various sizes, not exceeding 36” on any side), 52 pieces total.
Number of pieces allowed: One entry per member.
Membership: You must be a Montgomery Art Association member in good standing to enter this show.
Entry fee: $10 per work (nonrefundable)
Registration open: October 11- October 18
Drop off: Monday, November 14, 10 am-1 pm
Show dates: November 20-December 18
Reception: Sunday, December 4, 12:30-2 pm
Pick up unsold artwork: CHANGED: Wednesday, December 21, 10 am-noon

About the Goldman Art Gallery: Focusing on meaningful, inclusive exhibits depicting experiences, identity, and culture, the Goldman Gallery is a warm and welcoming space. It Is housed in the Bender JCC building, which is home to dozens of classes and activities each week. Daily foot traffic is robust.
