Plein Air: Nocturne with Holiday Lights
Please join us for an evening of holiday Plein Air painting on Sunday, December 14, from 6:30 to 9pm in Bethesda. Restaurant and holiday lights, shoppers and diners, and our group of painters help create a festive atmosphere. Fire pits are available here to warm your hands.
Location: Maman Restaurant, 7140 Bethesda Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814

Parking: Parking is available at the Bethesda Library about three blocks away from our meeting spot or at nearby public parking lots. Parking is free in all public Bethesda lots on Sunday evenings.
Cost: Free
Number of registrants: Up to 20 members and their guests (Members may bring 1 guest.)
What to expect: Once you have arrived, please check in with Lynn in front of Maman. She will have light snacks available. We will spread out, paint until 8:00, then share our work and take a group photo by a fire pit. There are many places nearby to buy hot coffee or hot cocoa, including Dunkin Donuts.
What to bring: Bring your standard paints, substrate, easel, stool, medium, drop cloth, hand wipes, warm layers of clothes, water. Please stay hydrated.
Getting there: If you'd like to try to find a ride or carpool with other participants, please post a note in our members-only Facebook group.

Rain date: No rain date. Event will be held only if it is not raining.
