About The Presenters:

Nancy Tankersley
began her career as a portraitist but entered the gallery scene with figurative paintings of people at work and at leisure. Currently as she searches for the unpredictable, Tankersley moves between landscape, figures and still life. Incorporating non-traditional tools , supports and technologies for her paintings she remains faithful to her impressionistic style. Known for her paintings of figures at work, Tankersley has developed a body of Chesapeake watermen paintings that earned her the honored role as Featured Artist at the 49th Annual Waterfowl Festival in Easton.

Jill Basham resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, painting in her studio or outdoors on location across the country and abroad. Jill began painting in 2009, having discovered her passion and future career. She is a member of National arts organizations, is represented by major galleries within the US and her work has won numerous awards and honors along the way.   For more: www.jillbasham.com

Stewart White is a watercolorist from Baltimore, Maryland. He is one of the rare plein air painters using the medium of watercolor. His background in architectural illustration adds to his skill set and his paintings reflect his knowledge of good design. Stewart’s paintings have the pleasing combination of good structure with a painterly style. He is a transparent watercolorist in the purest tradition of watercolor painters.  Stewart is President of the Mid-Atlantic Plein-Air Painters Association (MAPAPA). He exhibits his paintings in juried and gallery exhibitions throughout the US. He is the Grand Prize Winner of the prestigious Easton Plein air Festival (2009)  and  Plein Air magazine’s Grand Prize Salon.  For more:  www.stewartwhitestudios.com

Christine Lashley is a contemporary impressionist artist known for her colorful and dramatic oils. Her paintings are an ephemeral moment captured within a frame – a synthesis of the ambiance she has painted in person and the limitless creativity within her studio. From glittering pristine waterways to the glass reflections in cities, Lashley is fascinated by how transparency and light can abstract a scene and transport the viewer to a new environment. Exhibitions of Christine’s work include curated invitationals, museum shows, and gallery shows. Christine is a frequent participant in juried Plein Air (outdoor) painting competitions.  For more:  www.christinelashley.com/
