
Honey-Acres Farm
Usher in this Autumn by painting Pumpkins, Mums, and more at a Farm!
‘Honey-Acres’ or ‘Farm at Home’ is open for artists to find their fall color inspiration. This historic farm found its beginning in 1971 when Daniel M. Fistere, Sr. purchased a 10-acre parcel of land on Partnership Road (formerly, Reddick Road) on which to build a home and establish a Quarter horse farm. The farm is now 60 acres and is protected through the Montgomery County agricultural preservation program.
When: Monday morning, October 17, 9am to noon.
Cost: $10 per member. Includes drinks and snacks. Individual cancellations are possible until October 14, 5.00 pm.
Where to meet: Meet at the Farm entrance at 9:00am
Number of participants: up to 24 artists
What to expect: Stretches of farmland with pumpkins ready for picking, mums, hay bales, farm equipment and the farmhouse, all ready to be composed into a painting. Portable Restrooms are there.
What to bring: All art supplies and equipment you need; hat, sun protection, insect repellent. Please be advised to wear sturdy shoes and keep your arms and legs covered as extra protection from insects.

Rain date: Because of limited windows of time, if the weather is poor, the session will be cancelled altogether. Your fee will be refunded.
