It goes without saying that words matter, and the proper words can make a significant impact on how interact with others. But that’s only part of the picture.  The “tune” or the way we deliver our words can be just as significant.  Learning process behaviors that alter not just the sounds we make, but the confidence we display when making them can significantly impact how credible others perceive our message to be.  It’s not the words… it’s the tune that adds the human element to how we communicate and makes us truly believable.  The presentation explores the following topics for artists in the context of speaking about and selling their art:

The Words:

  • How to create trust in any conversation.
  • A repeatable, predictable process that creates urgency for change.
  • Client decision points, and how to effectively test where your clients are in his or her Decision Points.

The Tune:

  • Skills required to ask necessary questions in an empathetic manner.
  • Improving The “Three P’s” – Pitch, Pace, & Pause.
  • Adding an authentic tone to your voice and nonverbal actions.
  • Learning how to incorporate acting techniques to increase credibility.
