Canceled due to Rain- May 27th Plein Air Paint Out - Windridge Vineyard

• Where:  Meet on the outdoor patio at the vineyard  Tasting Room .
  
• When:  May 27, 9:00am - 1:00pm 
• Don't forget:  easel, chair and umbrella or hat for shade and possibly a camera or iPhone in case you want to complete your work later. 
• Use of Windridge chairs or tables:  You may only use Windridge picnic tables or outdoor chairs if you cover them to avoid getting paint on them.  
  
• Cost:  Free with registration
  
• Sharing your Art:  Take time to share your work with the other plein air artists after painting...we will have a reserved table for you at the vineyard Pavilion. 
• Windridge Tasting Room Access:  Windridge tasting room is not open to the public until 11:00am - drinks and snacks will not be for sale until 11:00am.  However, the owners will allow the artists to use the bathroom facilities if needed.  
• Rain Date:  If the weather is poor, we'll postpone.  Rain Date TBD.

• Plein air at Windridge. Spend the early morning and early afternoon painting en plein air with fellow MAA members at the beautiful Windridge Vineyards. The vines have started their journey toward the sky...with the hope of luscious purple grapes later in summer. The vineyard sits atop rolling hills surrounded by forested areas that are bursting with new growth.   No doubt you will find lots of artistic inspiration.  

Windridge Vineyards is a family-owned farm winery dedicated to producing premium estate grown wines. Situated on the Piedmont plateau of Maryland, our three vineyard sites have been carefully chosen for their unique geology and microclimates.  Located in Darnestown, MD, just 30 minutes from Washington DC,  Windridge has 27 acres of vineyards with brand-the fabulous Tasting Room -now displaying the Spring Art exhibit of 19 artworks by our own  MAA artists.  After a morning of painting - visit the Spring art exhibit too.
