Plein Air Outing at Windridge Vineyard

Windridge Vineyard - Fall Plein Air 

Spend the late morning and early afternoon painting en plein air with fellow MAA members at the beautiful Windridge Vineyards.The vines are abundant with purple grapes just ready to be harvested.  The vineyard sits atop rolling hills surrounded by forested areas that will be in fall's full display.   No doubt you will find lots of artistic inspiration.  

Windridge Vineyards is a family-owned farm winery dedicated to producing premium estate grown wines. Situated on the Piedmont plateau of Maryland, our three vineyard sites have been carefully chosen for their unique geology and microclimates.  Located in Darnestown, MD, just 30 minutes from Washington DC,  Windridge has 27 acres of vineyards with brand-new Tasting Room that was officially opened in September 2020.  Please note that the Tasting Room is now showing the MAA Summer Art Exhibit..so visit and enjoy MAA members' art (and maybe a glass of wine).

Cost:  Free with registration.

Time:  Meet on the patio of the Tasting Room at 11:00am.  Event ends at 3:00pm. 

Rain date:  If the weather is poor, we'll postpone. Rain date TBD.
