Welcome to "Our Stories," MAA's online exhibition that highlights our members' artworks as well as their insights into why each piece is important to them.
REGISTRATION NOW FULL
Thirty MAA members can register one piece of art for this exhibit. Included in the registration process (and displayed to viewers) will be a write-up of ~50 words, describing what the piece of art means to you. Here's an example of what is possible:
I recently finished reading "The Choice" by Edith Eva Eger. She wrote her book at the age of 90; what a story. As always, I jotted down snippets of text as I read. Last night I painted this piece, "From Darkness to Light," inspired by words in the book. I never paint with black and it was hard to control on the paper. When I woke up today in the morning and saw the dry piece, I realized there is always more light than darkness.

Viewers will browse the images and when they click on an image, they will get the write-up, a photo of the artist, and size, media and price of the piece.
Buyers will contact the Show Manager, who will then connect the Artist with the Buyer. There is no registration fee and no commission.
Registration for this online exhibit is April 19-25. A wait-list will be generated when the registration limit of 30 artists has been met.
We are planning to hold a virtual "Meet the Artist" session, to be scheduled during the exhibit.
