A still life is more than just a collection of favorite objects. Symbolism, color choices and repetition of patterns are among the considerations when setting one up. MAA member Walt Bartman, founder of the Yellow Barn Studio & Gallery, will lead a free lecture and demo on how to set up a still life at home for MAA members. He will do a short painting demo, too.
