About the presentation:
Framing artwork is expensive.  The investment may complement the work or detract from the impact.  But how relevant is the framing to the buyer?  In the 10 years that Lesley Morris has been at the Mansion at Strathmore, she has seen the best and worst of framing.  In this talk she will provide helpful options in cutting costs and in selecting the best complementary options for framing styles and budgets.  There are many ways to reach buyers, let your frames enhance your work, reflect your artistic style, and not distract from the artistry in your presentation.

About Lesley Morris:
Lesley Morris is the current Director of Mansion Galleries for Strathmore.  She has been active in the gallery and exhibition community since 2002.  She is dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career artists with opportunities to grow their professional careers.  At Strathmore she works towards providing exhibition spaces that serve the community through a wide variety of artist approaches and media in order to support creative lives for artists and those who appreciate art.  Before coming to Strathmore, Lesley designed the gallery management structure for the Krull Gallery in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was a gallery assistant at the Arts Club of Washington, in downtown DC.  She has degrees is Library Science, Arts Management and a certificate of Arts Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.  She enjoys weaving and collage arts, and mixes things up with good books and baseball games.
