While we await the colors of Spring to surface, let’s paint some winter trees, rocks and creeks with reflections of sky in the brooks. Rock Creek Park offers it all. With the foliage not obscuring the view of magnificent rocks and water there is much to capture in your design no matter what the medium. Meet Up: At the Nature Center from 9.30 to 9.45 am
Registration dates: Registration starts Monday, February 20, 2023. It ends Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 11:59 pm ET.
What to expect: Trails, trees springing back to life, bridges, rock formations, water bodies, opportunity to connect with fellow artists and plan forward for Summer Paint-outs. Visit the Nature Center for fresh inspiration! Picnic tables available for those who would like to sit and paint.

What to bring: Please bring all the supplies needed for painting/sketching, your favorite drink/water, packed lunch, and insect repellant spray/wipes.

Directions to Rock Creek Park Nature Center: From Military Road NW, turn right on to Glover Road NW. Follow Glover Road to the left when it splits at Picnic Grove #13. Continue up the hill and turn left at the sign for the Rock Creek Nature Center and Rock Creek Horse Center. Follow the signs and arrows to the left to access the parking area for the Rock Creek Park Nature Center.
